Friday Forage | Tap In... Bathroom Special

Here are a few ideas to "tap into" and spruce up your bathroom! Bathrooms should be restorative places... keeping walls and flooring to a minimal colour spectrum. That said, injecting a hint of colour into a muted space won't go a miss!

Friday Forage | Illustrator Julia Gittins






Julia Gittins has a uniquely whimsical approach to story telling, her illustrations are captivating. They depict heavily patterned, expressive characters. In her 'Northern Lights' series, Polar Bears, elongated Cats & Black Birds were bought to life in her re-imagining of Philip Pullmans book 'Golden Compass'. 

Julia's predominant style is Lino cutting, although, she loves to turn her hand to collage too! The black and white Lino prints above, start from £60 and Julia is happy to take commissions. 

In addition to Illustrations for literature, Julia has launched a collection of Greetings cards.
